The eBannok Handicrafts Project was established over 10 years ago by The Mirror Foundation, a Thai Non-Government Organisation (NGO).
eBannok and The Mirror Foundation work to help the various Hilltribe people living in northern Thailand through education, rural and community development, advocacy . The eBannok project works to preserve the unique cultures of the Hilltribe people, especially their traditional handicrafts.
eBannok Handicrafts are made on-site in our studio as well as within eBannok’s network of Hilltribe villages. The Project provides sustainable incomes to people living in remote areas of Chiang Rai Province. eBannok’s craftspeople receive a fair wage whilst benefitting from learning new skills in business, design and production, as well as studying the English language with our foreign volunteers.
